Frequently Asked Questions

The files won´t download when I click on the download link.

Try to right-click on the link and choose "Save target as...". This will download the file to your harddisk without the "interference" from Acrobat Reader or Quicktime. You will still need Acrobat/Quicktime to view the content after downloading, though!

Note! In some versions of Internet Explorer, the "Save target as"-method will not work. To save the file to directly to disk, you will need a browser supporting this feature, like Firefox or Opera.

Trying to download the material in another browser is almost always a good idea if you run into problems. Firefox is in our experience the browser with the least problems.

 

I have downloaded the ebook, but I can´t open it.

Make sure you have the latest version of Acrobat Reader. You can download it here.

 

The download is interrupted or the files won´t download completely.

The server may be to busy at the moment. Try again later, and please let us know if there is still a problem. We do our best to keep our server capacity up to date, but there may be traffic peaks during the day that causes problems.

When will you respond to my email?

We always try to respond to emails ASAP as long as we are awake. But please remember that Norway is eight hours before American time, so we may be asleep just when you send your request. We´ll get back to you as soon as we wake up (and have walked our dogs :-).

During the weekends we may be away giving seminars or competing with our dogs, but we´ll contact you as soon as we´re back at the office.

 

When I try to log in I just get redirected back to the login-page over and over again. What should I do?

a) Quit your browser and open it one more time. Then try again. If that doesn´t work you may want to try in another browser (or update your browser to the latest version).

b) Make sure you type your password correctly (case-sensitive)

c) If it still doesn´t work, please contact us and we´ll be happy to assist you.

 

I have purchased the book, but I haven´t received the email with the login information.

You may have spelled your email wrong, or the email may be trapped in your spam-folder (or it is just delayed – the internet works in mysterious ways sometimes). If you don´t receive the email within 15-20 minutes, please contact us and we´ll email the information one more time.

It may also be a good idea to put our email addresses in your address book, just to make sure it doesn´t go in your spamfolder.

Yes it is, but only in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Finish. The english version is only available as ebook for instant download.
